About Islo

Islo is the runtime for autonomous coding agents. We run agents in isolated environments connected to real tools: GitHub, CI, cloud services, Slack, with a policy layer that blocks what you didn't approve. Enterprise teams use us to deploy agents they can actually trust.

We're a small team based in Tel Aviv, with remote teammates too. Engineers figure out what to build, talk to customers directly, and ship it. We're growing fast and hiring people who want to own product, not just tickets.

If you're ready to solve hard problems in a space that's being invented in real time, come join us.

Overview of role

Engineering leaders want background agents in production. Most are stuck between pilot excitement and production trust: they bought Cursor or Claude Code, a few engineers love it, security won't sign off, and nobody can prove agents actually save time. You'll own how the world discovers Islo: the narrative, the audience of engineering leaders, and Autonomous Engineering.

What you'll do

No two weeks will look the same. You'll have real ownership over story, audience, and field presence:

  • Own Islo's narrative: agent trust for engineering teams, autonomous vs autocomplete, prove before production.
  • Write and publish insight-led content (LinkedIn posts, threads, short videos, blog pieces) that makes the right people pay attention.
  • Turn customer conversations, product launches, and field learnings into case studies, proof points, and material the whole team can reuse.
  • Build an audience of engineering leaders who care about background agents through content, not cold outreach.
  • Test messaging, track what resonates, and iterate weekly based on real reactions, not what sounds good in a deck.
  • Run the Autonomous Engineering community, the largest community for autonomous engineering in Israel: monthly meetups, speaker lineup, venue, promotion, and the vibe that keeps engineers coming back.
  • Plan and run gatherings: conference talks, dinners, smaller sessions in Tel Aviv and abroad.
  • Travel to industry events and represent Islo on stage, on camera, and in conversations.
  • Build relationships with partners, creators, and practitioners in the agents and developer-tools space.
  • Join customer calls to understand how teams talk about agents, what scares them, and what stories are worth telling.
  • Collect real-world examples of agents succeeding and failing, and turn them into content people actually want to read.
  • Partner with engineering on launches, demos, and product moments, and make sure the outside world hears about what we ship.

What we're looking for

We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't perfectly align with all requirements. We prioritize hunger, judgment, and ability to learn fast over a perfect resume. Early-career candidates are welcome. If you've built an audience, organized a meetup people actually showed up to, or grown a technical community from scratch, we'd love to hear from you.
